About Us 

We are a small, dynamic local charity devoted to supporting people living with dementia and their carers. Our work centres on championing the voices of those with dementia and inspiring positive change in dementia care. The Role 

As the Research Co-ordinator and Lead for our Good Life with Dementia Course, you will take a pivotal role in delivering and evaluating a programme dedicated to helping people with dementia and their carers live well. Your work will inform the continuous improvement of our course and contribute to a growing body of knowledge focussed on practical, person-centred dementia care. 

Key Responsibilities 

Coordinate and lead the ‘Good Life with Dementia’ course, ensuring it reflects current research and best practice. 

Engage directly with people with dementia and their carers to ensure their voices shape the course content and delivery. 

Develop, implement, and oversee research projects evaluating the impact of our courses and wider support services. 

Collaborate with colleagues, community partners, and stakeholders to share findings and advocate for improved dementia care. 

Collect, analyse, and present data in an accessible and meaningful way for a variety of audiences. 

Provide training and guidance to staff, volunteers, and service users in research methods and evaluation. 

Support funding applications and reporting by demonstrating the impact of our work. 

About You 

Demonstrable experience in research, evaluation, or project management—ideally in health, social care, or community settings. 

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a strong commitment to inclusion and co-production. 

A passion for amplifying the voices of people with dementia and their carers. 

Ability to work independently and as part of a supportive team. 

Experience in training, facilitation, or group work is desirable. 

Empathy, creativity, and a drive to make a real impact.
